As low-budget travelers, we appreciated the helpful and polite staff who upgraded our room twice. the location was perfect for visiting Berlin, especially the zoo garden. the morning receptionist was delightful and super helpful. the hotel had a homey feel rather than a typical hotel atmosphere. we got a clean, spacious room in the center of the city for a reasonable price.
Felt like a relaxing home away from home, no complaints.

The location of the hotel is excellent
Unfortunately, the hotel is very used to it. Too bad because it is located in a very beautiful old building.

The hotel's elegant late 19th-century design created a delightful and nostalgic atmosphere, transporting me to a bygone era. The common areas were tastefully decorated, with comfortable seating perfect for relaxing and socializing. The hotel's accessibility was excellent for senior guests like myself, with convenient ramps and spacious corridors that allowed for easy movement.
The only improvement I would suggest is a more experienced and mature staff. While the young employees working there were polite, I found that their lack of life experience sometimes hindered their ability to understand and cater to the needs of senior guests.

Good location to bus and subway. Price is all right. Not far from the hotel there is a bakery shop offering coffee, cake and sandwiches. Staff very friendly.
The beds are very, very soft. No possibility to have breakfast in the hotel.

Nice breakfast, but monotonic, eggs not served every day. Close to the Adenauer Platz.
The entrance to the hotel is through a construction site at the ground floor (probably will be over within the next weeks). The room was far below expectations. Old and low quality furniture, badly damaged carpet, only one electricity outlet, bad lighting in the bathroom combined with a dark wallpaper/ linoleum, towels are not changed every day. In total - Berlin is wonderful, the Comet hotel is not.

Location is excellent, mainstreet of the west Berlin, 3min to the metro station, near to the Zoo. Some restaurants are easily to be found near around. We are pleased with the price and the breakfast served. Otherwise, room service is good too, they have 24/24 reception and make the bed every morning. We have wifi in the room and the hall is adorable and very clean.
Some stuff can not speak english, the building is old and on construction. Sometimes is noisy, but I believe it depends on room. If you are young couple, don't have a huge budget but still can pay for a small hotel in the city, it's a good choice !

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff who were always ready to offer service with a smile. I also enjoyed the included breakfast which provided a variety of options to choose from. The hotel's location was also convenient, being just a short walk from public transportation and many shops and restaurants in the area.
The furniture in the room was a bit dated and in need of updating. the lack of Wi-Fi in the room was a bit inconvenient and made it difficult to stay connected.

The service at this hotel was excellent, with the staff being very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even providing extra towels and bringing tea, water, and food to our room when my boyfriend was sick. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and had a very comfy and big bed, as well as modern showers. The breakfast had a good variety of options to choose from, including delicious white bread and chocolate cereals.
The only minor issue was a slight smell of smoke, but it was not noticeable in our room.
